Affiliate Program Agreement
Program basics
An Affiliate is a person or business who applies and is accepted into the AutoRoute Affiliate Program and is authorized to share Affiliate Program links, referral codes, or other promotional materials provided or approved by AutoRoute LLC.
A Qualifying Referral is a new AutoRoute subscriber who signs up using your Affiliate referral link or code and becomes a paying customer.
Commissions are earned only when the referred operator is a new, non-existing AutoRoute subscriber at the time of signup and becomes an active paid subscription. Commission is calculated at 25% of the net recurring subscription amount paid for each qualifying subscription.
Commission and payment terms
- Commissions are earned only after a referred subscription payment has cleared and the associated refund or chargeback window (30 days) has passed.
- Payouts are processed monthly on or about the 15th for the prior month's cleared commissions, subject to verification.
- Commissions are paid only after the earned amount reaches the minimum payout threshold of $50.
- Affiliates are responsible for maintaining accurate payout information, including tax and payment destination details.
- AutoRoute may withhold, reduce, reverse, or reclaim commissions for refunded subscriptions, chargebacks, suspicious activity, fraud, or churn events before payout.
Cookie and attribution terms
A referral click is tracked for 60 days from the time of click. During this period, if a user signs up for a qualifying paid subscription, the click is attributed to the Affiliate.
Only one affiliate is credited per referred operator. If multiple qualifying clicks occur, AutoRoute uses a last-touch attribution model and pays the Affiliate associated with the last valid click before signup.
Taxes
If an Affiliate earns $600 or more in commissions in a calendar year, AutoRoute will issue a 1099-NEC where applicable under U.S. tax law.
Affiliates are responsible for their own taxes and understand that participation in the Program does not create an employer-employee relationship with AutoRoute LLC.
U.S. affiliates must provide a W-9 before any payout that would bring their calendar year total above $600. Non-U.S. affiliates must provide a completed W-8BEN before their first payout of any amount.
Program rules
- Self-referrals are prohibited. An Affiliate may not earn commissions from referrals of themselves or their owned business entities.
- Affiliates may not use paid advertising or domain redirects that include AutoRoute branding or marks without AutoRoute's prior written permission.
- Affiliates may not use spam, deceptive claims, false reviews, or artificial incentives to generate referrals.
- AutoRoute may suspend or terminate participation for violations, suspected fraud, abuse, legal risk, or for any reason with reasonable notice.
Termination and commission cutoff
Upon termination of participation, Affiliates forfeit unpaid commissions tied to subscriptions that have not yet cleared the payment and refund windows.
Commissions that have already been cleared and are due for payout at the time of termination remain payable, subject to clawbacks from refunds, fraud investigation, and compliance review.
Modification rights
AutoRoute may update this Affiliate Program Agreement and commission structure with at least 30 days' notice. Continued participation after the effective date of changes means acceptance of the updated terms.
